As early as 7:00AM, we were already at Xavier School for the Women's Volleyball League (Developmental) game of STC vs. QC Science High.
Anja as always, was busy running around with CZ.
This is another quick game of 2 sets with STC claiming victory. It's personally memorable for us as Pumkin had contributed 9 straight points in service which gave them the lead over QC Science.
After the game, we went to look for the nearest church so we could hear the Sunday Mass before proceeding to the next game.
As we are again in a hurry to get to Tivoli Royale Clubhouse for the QCAA game, another drive-thru lunch at Mcdonalds was enjoyed by my mom and my kids. :D
QCAA: STC vs. Diliman Prep
This was a critical game. Its a fight for the championship slot. This was the best game of STC I've ever watched so far. It made me jump from my seat and forget about taking photos !
This game is to be won in 3 sets. The first set was easily snatched by STC but the second and third sets have gone awry for STC and favored Diliman Prep. But the Theresians would not be beaten without the fight. All defenses up with Cielo Fernandez's blocks and spikes from Patricia Vergara and Allison Gonzalez, STC was able to claim the fourth set which then required the deciding race to 15 set.
Even more thrilling was the fifth set. You would not want to blink so you wouldn't miss every second of the ball passes and hits. I kept my finger crossed and prayed so hard to help STC take this crucial step towards championship. It meant a lot for these girls as I see them work hard for it.
It was a very close fight with an ending score of 16-14 in favor of the Theresians.
Now it got them a step closer to the championship slot. Another game against the Diliman Prep in next week to finally grab the slot and go for the gold.
