Do I startle you
With my interest in your being?
You're a mystery to unravel
A challenge with much risk
A temptation demanding control
A threat to my sanity
Your unpredictability pulls me
Your coldness pushes me
Shall I work on claiming you to be my own?
You ignite fire on a sleeping log
It burns and can scar.
What is it all worth?
Where would it lead me?
Still at nothingness
For I myself is a complicated piece
That none could probably figure out
Except the one who was able to look beyond
And yet hasn't totally consumed me
As if fate has destined me as its own.
Let remain what is today
Until yours of provocation
